While it is true that we offer custom installation work that can stand out at a car show, our main focus over the last several years has been integration. Just as in fashion, trends change in the world of car audio. For us, it means fewer wild fiberglass enclosures painted in candy colors and more of integrating the finest electronics into a vehicle so they disappear.

Let’s say you want a custom-installed laser and radar detector for your BMW. Our driving goal would be to make the whole system look like it came as a factory option. We would design everything from the in-house machined mounting brackets to the custom trim work for the controller to add to the esthetics of the vehicle, not detract from it.

Installation Work Taken to the Next Level

When you trust your vehicle to Boomers Audio, our installation work will meet or exceed the standards of a vehicle manufacturer. We call it next-level installation. When most companies install speakers in your door, they simply use a self-tapping screw or drywall screw to pierce the metal and hold the new speaker in place. That won’t happen around here. Our team will reuse the factory mounting locations and, if needed, add threaded inserts and bolts to ensure a solid mount that won’t come loose. Should the vehicle ever need service, it will disassemble and reassemble just like factory parts.

Amp Racks that Use Factory Bolts

When we install an amplifier, we reuse factory bolts. Our amp racks are made out of metal or composite, never wood. If your vehicle wasn’t built with wood, why would you want it used to hold an amplifier?

Composite Speaker Mounts

Most modern vehicles need some type of speaker adapter to mount a high-performance speaker properly in your doors. Many shops still use wood, which will hold water and break down over time. In our case, we machine the adapters in-house out of composite that will never hold water or break down. This also allows us to thread the adapter and use bolts instead of screws, which stay more secure in the long run. Who wants to deal with a warranty claim for a speaker adapter that is failing? Not us, and probably not you.
